Excellent bilingual naturalists lead walks that give a glimpse of the cutting-edge research conducted at OTS Biological Stations La Selva, Las Cruces and Palo Verde; as well as the natural history of the tropical forest. They provide information to identify many common animal species and to learn about them, what they eat, how and when they breed, why they are large or small, or dully or brightly colored, its interactions with other animals and with its environment.

Palo Verde Biological Station located in the heart of Palo Verde National Park, in the plains of the northwest Pacific. The park is known for its dry deciduous forests, its lakes and wetlands. Las Cruces Biological Station and Wilson Botanical Garden in the South Pacific coast of Costa Rica, a site is admired for its extensive collection of palms, bromeliads and plants endémicas.Las Cruces is part of the La Amistad Biosphere Reserve.

Cancellations Policy: Any cancellation within 24 hours prior to departure will be penalized with a 25% fee on the
cost of the contracted service. Cancellations within 12 hours prior to departure will be considered a "no-show;" therefore, no refunds will be made.
