	Recomendations: Attire:When visiting the park, you should wear comfortable walking shoes. If you are taking The Original Canopy Tour®, bring an extra piece of clothing in case of rain. All the rainforest trails and live exhibits at Veragua Rainforest have smooth, obstacle-free walking surfaces so hiking boots are not required. Bring: Bring a poncho or raincoat, and sun block. And don't forget your digital cam. Other Recomendations: We do offer round trip transportation to San Jose or Puerto Viejo

Located less than one hour from the historic Caribbean town of Limón, the park includes among other attractions, the largest indoor nocturnal frog exhibit in the world, butterfly garden, reptile vivarium, hummingbird garden, a fascinating tram ride through the rainforest canopy, spectacular walking trails through the primary rainforest and a magnificent waterfall; all surrounded by breathtaking panoramic views of La Amistad International Park. Veragua Rainforest Research & Adventure Park is located on a 1300-hectare (approximately 4000 acre) private reserve surrounded by 100% Rainforest. The park is a buffer zone for La Amistad International Park (Friendship International Park), which is shared by Costa Rica and Panamá. The region’s consistently pleasant climate makes a visit to Veragua Rainforest a fabulous experience all year round.
