During your 3½ hour (on-site) tour, you will find yourself completely immersed in the vibrant rainforest with incredible panoramic views. The enchanting aerial tram ride through the canopy level of the rainforest, spectacular walking trails, and a magnificent waterfall will all fill you with wonder. Breathtaking nature is what you will experience as you tour our interactive, live exhibits including: the largest indoor nocturnal frog exhibit in the world, an amazing butterfly garden where you will be surrounded by the famous blue Morpho butterflies, and a state-of-the-art reptile vivarium. You will have the opportunity to observe a genuine biological research station managed by the renowned National Institute of Biodiversity (INBio). You may even be lucky enough to witness the discovery of a new plant or animal species - INBio discovers them almost every day!

	Recomendations: Attire: When visiting the park, you should wear comfortable walking shoes. All the rainforest trails and live exhibits at Veragua Rainforest have smooth, obstacle-free walking surfaces so hiking boots are not required. Bring: A poncho or raincoat, and sun block. And don't forget your digital camara. Other Recomendations: We do offer round trip transportation to San Jose or South Caribe

Veragua Rainforest Research & Adventure Park is located on a 1300-hectare (approximately 4000 acre) private reserve surrounded by 100% Rainforest. The park is a buffer zone for La Amistad International Park (Friendship International Park), which is shared by Costa Rica and Panamá. The region’s consistently pleasant climate makes a visit to Veragua Rainforest a fabulous experience all year round.
